After the two previous rallycrosses, I decided it was time to upgrade to better off-roading tires. I was using BFGoodrich SuperSport A/S tires on the 17″ WRX rims and they weren’t handling so great on dirt. I decided on the General Grabber AT2 215/65/16 since they were the largest tire that can fit on stock WRX suspension. This wheelset will be dedicated to off-road and RallyX. The rear wheels rub on the very top portion of the mudflaps but it does not bother me. They will most likely wear themselves in. If they don’t, a pair of scissors will correct the minor problem. Road noise is considerably louder than my all season tires but that was expected.
